Eagle Hunt is located within Upper Uwchlan Township (municipality) in Chester Springs (zip code/postal area) in north central Chester County. Less than 40 miles from Philadelphia’s Center City, residents enjoy quiet living with convenient access to all the culture and entertainment of the nation’s 5th largest city.

Neighborhood Services

Eagle Hunt Community Association contracts landscaping services for all common areas. Trash and recycle collection is managed through the township and collected every Tuesday morning (zone 2). The township also has special pickup dates for bulk trash removal and yard waste. Snow removal on roads is managed through the township, while snow removal on sidewalks are the homeowner’s responsibility.

Public Transportation

Eagle Hunt is about 7 miles north of both Exton and Downingtown’s Amtrak and SEPTA train stations. These stations are stops on the SEPTA Paoli/Thorndale Line that runs directly to Philadelphia and the Amtrak Keystone Line that runs from Harrisburg to New York City.

School District

Eagle Hunt is within the Downingtown Area School District (DASD), the 7th largest and one of the top-ranked school districts in Pennsylvania.

Preschool is not provided through DASD, but there are numerous schools that offer preschool and/or childcare throughout the area, including:

Trails, Parks, and Playgrounds

Throughout Chester County there is an effort to conserve open spaces. Both municipal and nonprofit organizations have been actively acquiring land for preservation. Eagle Hunt is close to several of these areas where one can escape into nature.

Upper Uwchlan Township also has a Trail Network Master Plan, with a vision to allow residents to walk, run, or bike around the entire township safely using the trail system, while connecting to neighboring townships and town centers.

Sports and Recreation

Exercise or get involved with a team sport in both indoor and outdoor sports facilities in the area.
