Snow Shoveling

Snow Removal Notice

We would like to provide an update regarding the snow maintenance of sidewalks and walking trails within the community. R&S Services has been contracted to maintain ALL sidewalks that are located throughout the community during inclement weather. This includes snow removal and ice treatments on sidewalks in front of homes. Homeowners are responsible for clearing their driveways to the curb and walkways leading up to the entrance of their homes. Additionally, please be advised that the Township will assume responsibility for the walking trails along Fellowship Road. This is in accordance with the Eagle Hunt Open Space Management Plan, under which the Township oversees the maintenance and care of these designated open-space areas. If you have any questions, please reach out to Robyn Kelley at CCR Management.

Construction Notice: Sidewalk Repairs

Sidewalk repairs will start on August 1, 2023, and will take approximately 14 days to complete. Crews will begin working at 8 a.m. Sidewalk squares with a green dot on them will be replaced with PerkEpave, a porous asphalt alternative that will enable safer sidewalks while keeping our street trees intact. Approximately 3,200 square feet of sidewalks will be replaced. During this time we ask for your cooperation in ensuring that the construction continues without delay. Please observe the following guidance:

  • Please DO NOT park on the sidewalk side of the street during these 2 weeks. The contractors will need full access to the sidewalks.
  • Please DO NOT walk on newly paved sidewalks for at least 48 hours after it has been poured.

Public Works Street Tree Trimming

The Upper Uwchlan Township Public Works Department performed street tree trimming on July 20, 2023 in front of Eagle Hunt homes whose tree branch overhangs were impeding trucks, buses, and emergency vehicles from safely using the roadway. The township cut only what was necessary to make the roadways safe. They will not return to re-cut. Going forward, it is the property owner’s job to maintain the trees on their property. Tree branches should be 14 feet above the road and should be cut back behind the curb line.

Upper Uwchlan Township Community Values Survey

Have your voice heard! Take a moment to fill out the Upper Uwchlan Township Community Values Survey. The results of this survey will help guide the goals and recommendations of the updated Upper Uwchlan Comprehensive Plan. The Plan guides municipal staff and elected officials on coordinating decisions about the environment, historical and cultural resources, community facilities, parks and recreation and how best to locate and manage growth over the next 10-20 years.
